King & Spalding’s Paris office, which was established in 2009, now boasts six practices that serve the global needs of its clients.

The International Arbitration and Litigation practice represents clients in treaty-based and commercial arbitrations in French, English and Spanish, across a wide variety of sectors, including conventional and renewable energy, construction, and mining.

Paris is also home to a robust Real Estate investment advisory practice. The team represents some of the major international investment funds and domestic investors in the premium-tier French commercial real estate market.

The group also handles diverse tax aspects of domestic and cross-border real estate investments, acquisition finance, structured finance and group restructuring.

The litigation team handles matters involving French and international company law, white-collar crime, competition, contract and product liability. It has particular expertise in complex litigation, notably gaming law issues under French and EU law.

Environmental and toxic tort specialists handle a wide range of litigation cases before French courts. They also assist industrial companies with the implementation of European environmental and product safety regulations and the management of infrastructure projects.

The energy team focuses on all aspects of oil and gas, and power projects across the value chain in France, and North and Francophone Africa, and deals with public-law-related issues and administrative litigation.
