Benjamin Jones (Ben) advises clients around the world on the resolution of complex international disputes in the energy, construction, technology, and finance sectors.  He represents owners, investors and contractors in high-profile disputes arising from major capital projects under all major arbitration rules, many of which exceed USD 1 billion.  He has acted in more than 40 international arbitrations, and has particular experience involving projects in Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia.

In the construction sector, Ben represents clients in high-value disputes involving oil refineries, combined-cycle power plants, LNG facilities, petrochemical facilities, desalination plants and other major infrastructure projects.  Ben’s practice is also keenly focused on the energy transition, and his experience includes climate tech and renewable energy projects.   

Beyond the energy sector, Ben advises technology companies and private equity investors on the development of semiconductor fabrication facilities and other large-scale technology manufacturing facilities (both in the United States and in Asia), as well as the construction of hyper-scale data centers.  

In addition to his international arbitration work, Ben assists clients in cross border disputes involving foreign judicial and/or regulatory proceedings. He brings an industry perspective gained through a secondment to a major multinational company in Singapore early in his career, which involved managing a complex docket of litigation matters throughout South and Southeast Asia and southern Africa. 

Ben’s accolades include being recognized in The Legal 500 United States for international arbitration, and his selection to the "Rising Stars" list by Super Lawyers in 2020 and 2022.
