Zach McEntyre is a partner and one of the leaders of the firm's Class Actions team. He has steered the defense in scores of consumer class actions in jurisdictions across the country. His clients trust him as lead counsel in some of their most perilous matters because of his strategic focus on immediately identifying the clearest paths to victory, his tactical aptitude for executing on those strategies, and his acute attention to his clients' strategic and business objectives. Zach is also an experienced business litigator who handles an array of commercial disputes. Whether in a courtroom or a C-suite, Zach excels at fashioning litigation strategy based on business imperatives. 

Zach defends businesses in purported class actions that pose significant legal, financial, operational, and reputational risk. He has handled well over a hundred consumer class actions of virtually every type in myriad industries, including financial services, insurance, food and beverage, and automotive and consumer products. He is particularly adept at litigating consumer fraud and other consumer protection claims, often in jurisdictions that pose unique challenges for class action defendants. In particular, Zach has litigated numerous class actions in federal and state courts in California, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Texas, and in the Eastern District of Virginia. Zach is also an experienced business disputes lawyer. 

A regular author and speaker on class actions and other topics, Zach has been selected as a Law 360 Rising Star and one of the Daily Report's Legal Rising Stars to Watch.

Successfully resolved five purported class actions on behalf of affiliates of Progressive Casualty Insurance Company by defeating class certification, convincing a court to decertify a class it certified before King & Spalding was retained, winning summary judgment and obtaining pleading-stage dismissals.

Won numerous purported class actions against Equifax in the last two years, including three motions to dismiss and two summary judgment motions—all before any class was certified.
