People

As a partner in our Appellate, Constitutional and Administrative Law practice, Paul Mezzina focuses on appeals, critical motions and strategic counseling in connection with complex litigation.

Paul represents clients in a variety of matters, including those involving the False Claims Act, patents and trademarks, class actions, medical drugs and devices, professional liability, and energy regulation.

Paul has authored briefs in numerous cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, federal courts of appeals and federal trial courts, and has successfully presented oral argument in the Second, Eleventh, D.C. and Federal Circuits.

Paul is one of few attorneys in the country to have clerked for three U.S. Supreme Court Justices—then-Judge Brett Kavanaugh (on the D.C. Circuit), the late Justice Antonin Scalia and most recently, Justice Neil Gorsuch.
