backKing & Spalding advised Quanta Services, Inc. on its acquisition of Iowa-based Tri-City Group, LLC f/k/a PALCO Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries (“Tri-City”). The purchase price was not disclosed.
Quanta is headquartered in Houston, Texas and is an industry leader in providing specialized infrastructure solutions to the utility, power generation, load center, communications, pipeline, and energy industries. Quanta's comprehensive services include designing, installing, repairing and maintaining energy, load center and communications infrastructure. With operations throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and select other international markets, Quanta has the manpower, resources and expertise to safely complete projects that are local, regional, national or international in scope.
Based in Davenport, Iowa, Tri-City provides specialty electrical contracting and other services to large scale construction projects throughout the United States including, but not limited to, low voltage technology solutions, power testing solutions, engineering and integration services, structural steel erection and fire protection systems. Tri-City serves a number of industries including healthcare, education, datacenters and renewable energy.
