King & Spalding Wins New Rankings in Legal 500 UK 2016


LONDON, Sept. 16, 2016 — King & Spalding has added a number of new rankings in the latest edition of the Legal 500 UK guide.

The firm maintained its strong standing in key areas of focus, with seven UK-wide practice rankings, including Projects, Energy and Natural Resources: Oil & Gas and International Arbitration. London Office Managing Partner Garry Pegg and dispute resolution partner Thomas Sprange QC – who was appointed silk last year – both secured “leading individual” rankings in the respective practice groups. Islamic finance partner Michael Rainey also received a “leading individual” ranking.

In addition, King & Spalding lawyers received 24 individual rankings, up from 18 last year. The firm’s commercial litigation practice, which moved up to Tier 5, saw seven partners receiving recognition. The firm also received practice and individual rankings for M&A, Fraud: Civil and Mediators.
