NEW YORK, Nov. 17, 2015 — King & Spalding represented a major international investment bank as the sole structuring advisor and sole active book-running manager in a $685 million “whole business securitization” of the franchising and company-owned restaurant royalties of Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. in a deal that closed November 13.
Earlier this year, King & Spalding represented the same investment bank in a similar transaction for the franchise assets of Driven Brands, Inc. and has advised on a number of other “esoteric” securitization deals throughout 2015.
