We have served as lead counsel for Samsung C&T on four arbitrations arising from the construction of the Roy Hill mine project in Western Australia. The arbitrations are seated in Singapore and governed by the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. The total value in dispute in these arbitrations is in excess of $2.5 billion. The disputes involve complex claims for extensions of time, liquidated damages, and additional costs, as well as claims for misleading and deceptive conduct.
