ATLANTA, Oct. 7, 2016 — King & Spalding represented Cousins Properties Inc. as special real estate and finance counsel in its merger with Parkway Properties, Inc., a stock-for-stock merger deal that closed yesterday. The deal was approved by Cousins and Parkway stockholders on Aug. 23, 2016.
Today, Cousins completed a spin-off of the Houston properties of the combined company into a separate, publicly traded REIT called Parkway, Inc.
