King & Spalding Advised Initial Purchasers on Helios Towers’s $500 million Senior Notes Offering


King & Spalding advised the syndicate of Initial Purchasers in connection with the successful offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 6.750% senior notes due 2031 by HTA Group, Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Helios Towers plc, a leading independent telecommunications tower infrastructure company with operations in countries including Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Republic of Congo, Ghana, South Africa, Madagascar, Malawi, Senegal and Oman, whose shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange.

This landmark offering represented the first EM HY corporate transaction since the beginning of the Iran war.

King & Spalding advised the Initial Purchasers, comprising BofA Securities, J.P. Morgan, Standard Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Absa, Rand Merchant Bank, Deutsche Bank and Jefferies. 

Capital Markets partner Peter Schwartz and senior associate Riccardo Maggi Novaretti led the transaction, which also included Savannah Padgett and Erdem Evranos.
