Since January 2024, the provisions of the amended ELTIF Regulation have been applicable, and the European Long Term Investment Fund (ELTIF) has not only attracted the attention of legal publications but has also gained recognition among the interested public. However, the ELTIF Regulation is not the only European regulation that provides a directly applicable legal framework for investment funds. In addition to the ELTIF, the European Venture Capital Fund (EuVECA) and the European Social Entrepreneurship Fund (EuSEF) are also subject to a directly applicable European legal framework.
