Soumya Bhagavatula advises both borrowers and lenders on a wide range of cross-border banking and finance transactions including general corporate facilities, acquisition finance facilities, fund financing facilities and other structured and leveraged financing facilities.

Soumya advises leading international banks and financial institutions, major corporations, private equity sponsors and alternative financiers on a broad range of complex cross-border financing arrangements. Her practice extends across various sectors including energy and power, resources, investment funds and education and several jurisdictions including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, Australia and the Philippines.

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Soumya practiced as a lawyer in the Singapore office of a “Magic Circle” law firm.
