Support talent helps us deliver complete client solutions. Our professionals have college, or higher, degrees and many have industry or practice group specializations. They provide cross-practice support for all offices, and opportunities exist at all experience levels.
Paralegals and Project Assistants
Paralegal Services provides critical matter support across all practice groups, regularly working with lawyers worldwide and often interacting with multiple offices per matter. Additionally, they are responsible for reviewing and tracking all audit letter responses.
Paralegal Roles and Opportunities
Working with firm lawyers, paralegals perform substantive case and deal-related tasks. Responsibilities increase as appropriate to experience and skill. Senior paralegals often manage staff and projects. Educational and professional development programs are available to career paralegals.
Shorter-Term Positions
Entry-level positions with shorter-term job commitments are available for recent college graduates. Recent graduates may train as project assistants, who support lawyers and paralegals with document organization; file and matter management; and transactional closings.
Consultants and Specialists
The firm has consultants and industry specialists who have advanced degrees and/or have obtained specialized skills from years of experience in one sector. Roles include nurse consultants and transactional specialists, who work in areas such as finance, mergers and acquisitions, and public policy.
Trial Legal Practice Assistant
We have legal practice assistants (secretaries) with extensive trial experience. These professionals work with attorneys across all offices to provide trial and administrative support. They are efficient, highly skilled, and resourceful.
Litigation Docket Clerk
Docketing supports lawyers and paralegals in tracking deadlines for all matters. These individuals have specific knowledge and experience working with state and federal civil procedures and court processes.
IP Docket Clerk
This position supports lawyers and paralegals in tracking deadlines for patent, trademark, and copyright matters. These individuals have specific knowledge and experience working with U.S. and foreign intellectual property prosecution rules and regulations.
