People

Renzo is a senior associate in the International Arbitration & Litigation practice group. He has over 9 years of experience in domestic and international arbitration, particularly in construction disputes. He has represented companies in some of the major public construction projects in Peru, including industries such as transportation (roads, ports, airports, bridges), irrigation, energy, education, oil, gas and mining. He has also experience dealing with design, EPC, EPCM, BOT, BOOT and FIDIC contracts.

Renzo studied law at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and received his LL.M. degree (honors) from Georgetown University Law Center in 2018, where he attended as an international arbitration program scholar. Besides, in 2017, Chambers and Partners ranked him as an ‘associate to watch’ in the areas of Projects and Arbitration. He is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English.

Representing Sociedad Aeroportuaria Kuntur Wasi and Corporacion America in an international arbitration against the Peruvian government for the cancellation of the new Cuzco aiport. The dispute is before ICSID.

Advised the constructor in a major transportation project in Lima

Represented a construction company in the filing of seven co-financed, private initiatives for USD 1 billion to design, rebuild and operate educational facilities in Peru
