People

Katy Clements is an associate in King & Spalding's Dallas and Austin offices, and a member of the firm's Special Matters and Government Investigations practice. Katy’s practice focuses on government and internal investigations, corporate compliance and governance, and white-collar criminal defense.  She has advised public companies and individuals on a range of topics, including cross-border Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations and securities enforcement actions.

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Katy served as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert J. Conrad, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.  Katy graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law where she served as an Articles Editor for the North Carolina Law Review.  During her third year of law school, Katy spent a semester studying International and European Business Law at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain.

Before law school, Katy worked as a program director in Managua, Nicaragua for Manna Project International, a nonprofit organization providing health, education, and livelihood services to underserved communities.
