Jennifer Stewart is a partner in the San Francisco office of King & Spalding and a member of the firm's Trial and Global Disputes practice group. Her practice focuses on defending companies in the pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer products, and biotech industries in nationwide product liability and mass tort litigation.  She has over a decade of experience litigating civil cases in state and federal courts across the country, including in multidistrict litigation (MDL) and coordinated state court proceedings, from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal.

Jennifer has an extensive trial practice, having achieved successful outcomes for her clients in nine jury trials, serving as second-chair in five of those trials.

For the last four years, Jennifer has been selected by her peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Product Liability Litigation.

Aside from her product liability and mass tort practice, Jennifer has litigated numerous business matters in various substantive areas of law, including trade secrets misappropriation, unlawful business practices, unfair competition, and other high-stakes business disputes.  Jennifer is also dedicated to pro bono work, and an active member of the firm's Women's Affinity Group.

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Jennifer spent several years as an associate at a business litigation firm in New York City, where she was a member of litigation and trial teams, defending Fortune 100 companies in product liability and toxic tort cases.

Jennifer obtained her Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. In law school, she served as the senior note and comment editor for the Commlaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications Law and Policy.
