Fernando Rodriguez-Cortina is a partner in King & Spalding's Houston office and a member of the International Arbitration Practice Group. Mr. Rodriguez-Cortina’s practice focuses on investor-state and commercial arbitration.
Mr. Rodriguez-Cortina has been involved in disputes relating to private and public international law issues, bilateral investment treaties, and breach of contract under the ICC, ICSID and UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. He has represented clients in the oil and gas, mining, aerospace, retail, construction, pharmaceutical, automotive, aviation and insurance industries.
Mr. Rodriguez-Cortina earned his law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and completed the Law and Global Economy dual degree LL.M program at the New York University School of Law and the National University of Singapore. He also completed a diploma course on International Commercial Arbitration at the Mexican Arbitration Center in Mexico City.
