Elizabeth Wain is a Senior Associate in King & Spalding’s International Disputes team in the London office.
Elizabeth is a solicitor-advocate and specialises in the management and resolution of international commercial disputes both in English High Court litigation and in arbitrations under the leading institutional rules. Elizabeth's experience spans across a wide range of industry sectors, including energy, trusts, intellectual property, healthcare, and construction, with a primary focus on aviation and sports.
Elizabeth has significant in-house aviation experience, having undertaken three client secondments. In 2022, she was featured by The Legal 500 in its Private Practice Arbitration Powerlist for the UK Region.

Acting for the Claimant, a leading energy technology company, in a USD 50 million ICSID arbitration against its joint venture partner for breach of the joint venture agreement including misappropriation of technical information and corporate misgovernance.
Representing a State-investor in a USD 3.6 billion arbitration against shareholders of a major manufacturer of aircraft engines for alleged expropriation of investments.
