Represented one of the largest publicly-traded owners of Class A office properties in the United States, Piedmont Office Realty Trust, in the $472 million acquisition of 1180 Peachtree, a 41-story skyscraper in Midtown Atlanta. As of August 2022, the transaction was the largest price per square foot real estate transaction in the history of the City of Atlanta.

Advised global real estate investment and management firm Jamestown on real estate finance matters in the formation of its strategic partnership with Simon Property Group, in which Simon acquired 50% interest in Jamestown.

Represented Preferred Apartment Communities in the $645.5 million sale of the majority of its office real estate portfolio to Highwoods Properties, including the assumption of debt and consisting of office, retail and residential properties.

Acts as outside counsel to one of the largest global providers of insurance, annuities, and employee benefit programs with $740 billion in total assets under management on a range of matters related to the formation and implementation of real estate joint ventures, including negotiation of joint venture relationships, and the acquisition, disposition, financing, management and development of real estate projects. Represented this client in the largest single-asset office transaction to close in 2021, as well as the financing of that asset.
