Christian N. Craft-Ellison is an Associate in the Abu Dhabi office of King & Spalding in the Corporate, Finance and Investments group. She is a member of the Funds and Real Estate team, on which she advises and represents developers, large institutional investors, joint ventures and banks. She counsels clients on a wide range of real estate transactions including joint venture negotiation and operation, development, acquisitions and dispositions, financing and refinancing, and leasing involving multi-family, office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use projects.

Christian earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law.  She received her B.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University.

Represented one of the largest publicly-traded owners of Class A office properties in the United States, Piedmont Office Realty Trust, in the $472 million acquisition of 1180 Peachtree, a 41-story skyscraper in Midtown Atlanta. As of August 2022, the transaction was the largest price per square foot real estate transaction in the history of the City of Atlanta.

Advised global real estate investment and management firm Jamestown on real estate finance matters in the formation of its strategic partnership with Simon Property Group, in which Simon acquired 50% interest in Jamestown.

Represented Preferred Apartment Communities in the $645.5 million sale of the majority of its office real estate portfolio to Highwoods Properties, including the assumption of debt and consisting of office, retail and residential properties.
