Conference

West Coast Pharmaceutical & Medical Device University

Please join us for King & Spalding West Coast Pharmaceutical & Medical Device University, June 21, 2018, at the historic Palace Hotel in San Francisco. We are proud to feature our new partner, Sally Yates, former Acting Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General of the United States, and a 27-year veteran of the U.S. Department of Justice. Sally, who joined King & Spalding last week, will kick off our program with a plenary discussion regarding her DOJ enforcement experience and conducting investigations for life sciences companies. We will also feature insights on government-enforcement trends at the federal and state levels from former California Attorney General and U.S. Congressman Dan Lungren, who joined King & Spalding in April of this year.

As in years past, experts from across the firm will deliver a full day of presentations on recent developments and trends critical to drug, biologic and medical device manufacturers, their in-house counsel, managers, and executives. With two plenary enforcement sessions followed by two tracks of in-depth presentations, attendees can build a curriculum to suit their interests and needs.

Subjects will include regulatory compliance strategies for emerging companies, the 340B Drug Discount Program, a guide to understanding FDA’s criminal-enforcement regime, implications of the #metoo movement for life sciences companies (which will provide Elimination of Bias credit for attendees licensed in California), unlocking the potential of Medicare Part D, and other cutting-edge topics.
