backATLANTA, May 2, 2023 — Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation (AVLF) has honored Radha Sathe Manthe with its Rising Stars Award and Paul J. Murphy with its Martin Louis Ellin Lifetime Achievement Award. AVLF, a nonprofit, is the largest provider of pro bono legal services in Atlanta.
Manthe is Pro Bono Deputy in the firm’s Atlanta office, where she helps administer the firm’s pro bono program and encourages her colleagues to become involved in pro bono work. She has experience in pro bono work, including asylum work, litigation on behalf of a non-profit, and housing conditions work with AVLF.
Murphy, a retired partner, was in the firm’s Atlanta office, where his practice focused on high-risk complex commercial disputes, class actions, insurance coverage recovery cases and toxic tort litigation.
