Mena Fund Manager Names Jawad Ali, James Stull to its Power 30 List


DUBAI, Aug. 15, 2016 — Mena Fund Manager magazine has named King & Spalding partners Jawad Ali and James Stull to its annual Power 30 List, which recognizes influential, Middle East-based professionals in the fund services sector.

Ali is managing partner of the firm’s Middle East offices (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh) and global deputy head of the firm’s Islamic Finance practice group. He handles a broad range of cross-border corporate, finance and investment matters and has pioneered the development and implementation of Shari’ah-compliant financing and investment structures.

Stull is based in the firm’s Dubai and Riyadh offices and represents Middle East and international sponsors in the structuring and formation of a range of Shari’ah-compliant and conventional investment funds, including private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, hedge funds and debt funds.
