Melvin Bailey Inducted Into American College of Trial Lawyers


AUSTIN, March 1, 2022 — King & Spalding Trial and Global Disputes partner Melvin Bailey has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in North America. He becomes the 14th lawyer at the firm to receive this designation.

Bailey has focused his practice on high profile product liability, business litigation and personal injury cases for more than 30 years. He has achieved success as trial attorney in some of the most challenging venues in the United States, including Texas, California, New York, New Jersey, Wyoming, Utah, Oklahoma, Georgia, Maryland, Nevada and Florida. He has extensive courtroom experience representing leading corporate clients in complex and high stakes litigation.

Founded in 1950, the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) is an honorary professional association composed of experienced trial lawyers in the United States and Canada.
