Alec Koch to Speak at Practising Law Institute’s Hedge Fund and Private Equity Enforcement & Regulatory Developments 2022 Event

Washington, D.C., Government Matters partner Alec Koch will speak at the Practising Law Institute’s Hedge Fund and Private Equity Enforcement & Regulatory Developments 2022 Event on Sept. 19 in New York. Alec will participate in a panel discussion on “Emerging SEC Issues in Regulatory Oversight of Private Funds.” The panel will address recent rule proposals governing who must register as a dealer; government scrutiny of SPACs, sponsors, and advisers; regulatory interest in ESG strategies, compliance, and disclosures; and use of data science and analytics by both the government and private fund advisers.

This year’s program will explore the current regulatory priorities faced by attorneys and will help private funds and their in-house and outside counsel prepare for the coming wave of government investigations and regulatory examination. More information can be found here.
