Sheel Patel has more than a decade of experience working on complex commercial financing transactions across diverse industries including automotive, digital infrastructure, energy, hospitality, health care, manufacturing, media, retail, software, technology and telecommunications. He routinely represents private capital providers, financial institutions, private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers on cutting-edge leveraged and investment-grade financing transactions, asset based financing transactions, mezzanine lending, high yield issuances, event-driven and opportunistic financing transactions, as well as special situations, workouts, restructurings, and insolvency matters.
Sheel is a frequent speaker in the area of finance. His most recent presentations are related to such topics as credit agreement “tricks and traps”, cross-border financings, DIP financings, intercreditor agreements and agreements among lenders. Sheel was recognized by New York Metro Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" for four consecutive years.
