Robbie is a Senior Associate in King & Spalding’s Corporate, Finance and Investments group, focusing on financial restructuring and private credit and special situations matters, and is based in our New York office. Robbie represents secured lenders, bondholders, companies, members of management and other parties-in-interest in all aspects of financial restructurings, including out-of-court workouts and chapter 11 bankruptcies. Robbie also represents institutional banks, private credit and special situation funds, hedge funds and other investment advisors with respect to a variety of leveraged finance transactions.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Robbie worked for another international law firm’s financial restructuring group in New York. Prior to joining private practice, Robbie clerked for the Honorable Margaret Cangilos-Ruiz, Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of New York.
Robbie earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Binghamton University and his law degree, cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law, where he served as an editor on the Law Review and as President of the Bankruptcy Law Society.
