Ricardo (Rico) is an associate in King & Spalding's Government Matters and Regulations practice group and the Environmental, Health, and Safety team. Rico sits in King & Spalding's Washington, D.C. office. 

Prior to law school, Rico worked as a paralegal specialist at the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he was staffed on various pollution and waste matters. During law school, he continued to expand his acumen in environmental matters as an intern at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Region II field office in New York City. 

Rico graduated from Columbia Law School in 2023 and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Arabic from the University of Notre Dame in 2017.
