Megan's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, technology transactions, securities laws, venture capital and general corporate matters. 

Megan Larsen is an Associate in King & Spalding's Corporate, Finance and Investments practice, and a member of the Technology M&A group, Capital Markets group, and Technology Transactions group.  Megan's corporate transactional practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, complex commercial transactions and emerging company venture capital for public and private companies.  This work has included advising government contracting companies in a variety of contexts, including counseling, mergers & acquisitions, and negotiations of complex agreements.  Megan advises public companies in connection with governance issues, SEC reporting and disclosure requirements and other corporate and securities matters, including special purpose acquisition companies.  Megan also advises clients on a broad range of technology transactions matters, including: software, patent and trademark licensing agreements; joint intellectual property development and joint venture agreements; product development and integration agreements; professional service agreements; Software as a Service agreements; reseller and distribution agreements; and e-commerce agreements.

Megan works with companies, entrepreneurs, venture capital investors, and strategic corporate investors and acquirers across a range of sectors, including enterprise software, software and cloud infrastructure, fintech, financial services, data analytics, cybersecurity, e-commerce, hardware, government services and logistics and supply chain management.

Megan recently completed a secondment at a leading international government services and consulting company. 

Megan earned her JD from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as a member of The Tax Lawyer, and was an Institute of International Economic Law Fellow.
