People

Maggie Clark is an associate in the Environmental, Health and Safety Practice Group in King & Spalding's Washington, D.C. office. Her practice focuses on regulatory compliance, and she has an interest in the legal challenges facing chemical manufacturers, processors, and users. 

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Maggie was an Attorney-Advisor for the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of General Counsel. While at EPA, Maggie advised on matters arising under the Toxic Substances Control Act, Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act, and the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act. She focused on jurisdiction under TSCA, as well as testing and information development, new and existing chemical substance reviews, PCBs, and PFAS. 

Maggie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and International Affairs from the University of Georgia and a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, where she was a Woodruff Fellow. Following law school, Maggie clerked for the Honorable Chief Justice F. Michael Kruse of the High Court of American Samoa. While in American Samoa, Maggie handled cases relating to territorial and tribal law, including land use matters arising from American Samoa's unique position as a territory of the United States.
