Lucas Barta's practice focuses on counseling both early-stage and sophisticated clients in general corporate, technology, and transactional matters, including venture financings, private and public mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate governance.

Lucas Barta is a Senior Associate with King & Spalding’s Corporate, Finance, and Investments (“CFI”) practice. Previously, Lucas was an Associate Attorney with Morrison & Foerster LLP’s Corporate practice in McLean, VA. His practice focuses on counseling clients in general corporate, technology, and transactional matters, including debt and venture financings of small and large scale, private and public mergers and acquisitions, and other sophisticated transactions.

Lucas's day to day practice includes counseling clients in the technology, government services, and corporate spaces on corporate governance matters, navigating the pathways of debt and equity financings and capital raises, and transactional issues related to buy and sell-side mergers and acquisitions and other sophisticated transactions.
