Lucas Barta's practice focuses on counseling both early-stage and sophisticated clients in corporate, technology, and transactional matters, including venture financings, private and public mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate governance. 

Admitted only in Virginia; practice directly supervised by principals of the Firm 

Lucas Barta is an Associate with King & Spalding’s Corporate, Finance, and Investments (“CFI”) practice. Previously, Lucas was an Associate Attorney with Morrison & Foerster LLP’s Corporate practice in McLean, VA. His practice focuses on counseling clients in general corporate, technology, and transactional matters, including financings of small and large scale and mergers and acquisitions.

Lucas's day to day practice includes counseling clients in the technology, government services, and corporate spaces on corporate governance matters, navigating the pathways of equity financings and capital raises, and transactional issues related to buy and sell-side M&A matters.
