Chris Mitchell is an attorney in the Special Matters and Government Investigations group in the San Francisco office of King & Spalding.

Chris specializes in investigations and class action litigation.  Chris has represented a variety of companies, special litigation committees, individuals, and accounting firms in internal and government investigations.  He also has extensive experience litigating securities and consumer class actions, representing clients at all procedural stages ranging from motions to dismiss to class certification through trial.  Chris was a member of a trial team that won a complete defense verdict for the former CEO of a telecommunications company in one of the few securities class actions to go to trial since passage of the PSLRA.  In recent years, Chris has successfully opposed class certification on behalf of food manufacturers and technology companies.
