Robert is an Associate in the Houston office of King & Spalding and is a member of the firm’s Trial Practice and Global Disputes group. His practice focuses on litigating and arbitrating toxic and environmental torts, environmental contamination, employment, compensation, restrictive covenant, and other complex commercial matters in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies. He also represents and advises publicly-traded and privately-held companies in merger, acquisition and disposition transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Robert worked as an Associate large international law firms in Houston, Texas and New Orleans, Louisiana, focusing on labor and employment issues and class and collective actions. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rhesa Hawkins Barksdale of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Jackson, Mississippi, and while in law school, a judicial extern for the Honorable Albert Diaz of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Charlotte, North Carolina and the Honorable Neil P. Olack for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi in Jackson, Mississippi.

Robert graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served as an Executive Articles Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. 

Prior to attending law school, Robert worked in the government relations space for a law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. He completed his undergraduate studies, with honors, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in History and Economics and minoring in Classical Humanities.
