Fernando is an associate in the Corporate, Finance, and Investment practice group in King & Spalding's Houston office. He concentrates his practice on global construction energy projects, including liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, petrochemical facilities, and power plants. Fernando focuses on construction transactions and has experience with a variety of construction related agreements such as engineering-procurement-construction (EPC, EPCM, EP, EPCI), front-end engineering design (FEED), construction management, professional services, procurement, and equipment supply.
Fernando’s transaction and litigation experience provides clients with a practical and commercial driven approach to achieving project-related goals. Before joining King & Spalding, Fernando was a construction attorney in Miami and represented general contractors in large-scale construction projects. Fernando represented clients in construction litigation matters before federal and state courts in Miami, as well as in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
