Eric Backman is an associate in King & Spalding’s project finance practice group. Eric focuses on power and energy project finance transactions, including renewable generation construction project financings, as well as renewable and conventional power offtake agreements.
Eric has experience representing lenders and sponsors in conventional and renewable power project financings. He also has extensive experience drafting and negotiating power and fuel offtake arrangements, including ISDA agreements and power purchase agreements. Prior to joining King & Spalding, Eric worked in the project finance practice of a large international law firm in Houston, Texas.
