Catherine Greaves is a counsel in King & Spalding’s Healthcare Practice in Austin. She has more than 25 years of experience advising clients involved in all aspects of the healthcare industry. With a focus on state and federal laws related to healthcare, Greaves regularly counsels clients regarding Medicare, Medicaid and other governmental programs, including coverage and reimbursement matters, governmental and payor audits, internal investigations and other compliance issues. She also assists clients with managed care contracting, corporate acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures and other complex provider relationships, licensure, and certification matters, as well as employment and recruitment issues. She has experience advising clients on matters related to HIPAA, HITECH, federal and state healthcare fraud and abuse issues, including anti-kickback laws, physician self-referral prohibitions (Stark Law), false claims, and other sanction issues.
