People

Brittany L. Litzinger is an Associate in King & Spalding's Trial & Global Disputes practice group. She represents Fortune 100 and other large companies in a wide range of complex litigation, including multi-district litigation and coordinated proceedings. She is licensed to practice in California.

On the National Counsel team for a pharmaceutical client involved in a multi-district litigation, Brittany assists with the preparation of company and expert witnesses for depositions and trials and manages responses and discovery deficiencies for all state court proceedings. She also engages in motion practice, including motions to exclude expert testimony and accompanying oppositions. Brittany has a demonstrated capacity to acquire specialized knowledge on specific subject matters related to the case, particularly pharmacovigilance and regulatory considerations.

On the California Counsel team for a pharmaceutical client involved in national litigation, Brittany assists with the preparation of various motions, including motions to dismiss and associated replies within California district courts, as well as the evaluation of written discovery.

Brittany has also worked with automobile and medical device manufacturers at various stages of the litigation process. She has an extensive criminal and civil pro bono practice, and frequently leads discussions with clients and opposing counsel in connection with these pro bono cases.

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Brittany practiced at another reputable law firm, drawing upon her background in intellectual property and business law, where she represented clients in a wide range of complex litigation, involving business disputes, media, defamation, and privacy. 

Brittany earned her Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. While in law school, she held leadership positions on the committees for business and technology law.
