backKing and Spalding has been named a Finalist for two awards by Legal 500 as part of its annual awards program for Germany. The firm is a Finalist for the legal directory’s Banking & Finance Team of the Year award in recognition of its success representing clients in complex matters throughout 2025.
Legal 500 also named King & Spalding government matters partner Ulf Grundmann a Finalist in the Healthcare Lawyer of Year category.
Grundmann focuses on regulations and compliance regarding the pharmaceutical, medical devices, cosmetic and food industries, and on litigation in the European Union. For more than 28 years, Ulf has advised clients through all stages of the product life cycle, including product development, trademark clearance, labelling, advertising and promotion, product launch, distribution, licensing and compliance in the EU. He also handles all kinds of litigation related to the products, the distribution, intellectual property rights, competition and advertising.
The awards will recognize the lawyers, law firms and in-house legal departments “setting the pace across the Federal Republic, celebrating their recent achievements and broadcasting this success to a global audience,” according to the organization.
