NEW YORK, July 13, 2015 — King & Spalding continues to expand its litigation practice in New York with the addition of partner Peter J. Isajiw. Isajiw concentrates his practice on complex commercial and securities litigation, as well as regulatory investigations. He joins King & Spalding from Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, where he was a partner.
“Peter is a great addition to our litigation team,” said Richard T. Marooney, co-leader of King & Spalding’s financial institutions practice. “His strong litigation background in the financial industry adds to our already talented roster in this important and growing practice area.”
Isajiw represents corporations, financial institutions, directors, officers and individuals in a variety of state and federal court matters involving securities laws and regulations, RICO, fraud, breach of contract, and corporate governance issues. He also assists clients in connection with regulatory investigations conducted by the Department of Justice, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Isajiw served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Yvette Kane, of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University and his J.D. from Temple University, James E. Beasley School of Law.
“King & Spalding is on an impressive growth trajectory,” Isajiw said. “I am excited to join such a strong team of talented and internationally recognized litigators.”
