King & Spalding Advises Orion on the Sale of the Domus Shopping Centre in France

PARIS, Jan. 19, 2017 – King & Spalding represented London-based Orion Capital Managers on the sale of the Domus shopping centre in Rosny sous Bois, France.

Orion sold the shares of the portfolio fund holding the 62,633 sq m, three-level centre to the asset to Catalyst Capital, a European real estate investment and asset management firm. The centre specialises in home furnishing and has 70 stores, including brands such as Alinea, Truffaut, Boulanger, Maisons du Monde and Ligne Roset.

King & Spalding’s Paris office advised Orion on the aspects of real estate and corporate law. The team was led by partner Pascal Schmitz and included associate Alexandre d'Avout d'Auerstaedt.

King & Spalding’s European real estate practice has closed a number of deals for Orion recently. For example, the firm acted on two real estate sales in Germany last year and, in 2015, the Frankfurt-based real estate team worked for Orion European Real Estate Fund IV on the purchase of a 19-property commercial real estate portfolio in Germany.
