Hanna Azkiya to Speak at Chartered Institute of Arbitrators East Asia Branch Young Members Group 4th Annual Conference

Singapore Trial and Global Disputes associate Hanna Azkiya will speak at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators East Asia Branch Young Members Group 4^th Annual Conference on Feb. 23. Hanna will participate in a panel session on “Expanding Third Party Funding: Actors, Arrangements, Disclosures and Cost Award.” With the proliferation of the types of funding scheme and actors providing third party funding in international arbitration, this panel will discuss issues concerning disclosure obligation and the effect of third-party funding on cost award become more complex. This panel will further discuss the proliferation itself as well as its effect on the aforementioned issues while also comparing the applicable rules across different jurisdictions and arbitral institutions.
