BTI Consulting Group Names Chris Markus a 2017 Client Service All-Star

WASHINGTON, Feb. 10, 2017 — BTI Consulting Group has named Washington, D.C., FDA & Life Sciences partner Christina (Chris) Markus a 2017 Client Service All-Star. She joins an elite group of attorneys who “stand out as absolutely best at client service,” according to BTI. “Not just great—but head and shoulders above the rest as defined solely by clients.”

BTI interviewed more than 300 corporate counsel at large organizations, with $1 billion or more in revenue, to compile this year’s list, and respondents were asked to single out by name—unprompted—a lawyer who stands for unparalleled client service. The report is independent and unbiased—no law firm or attorney influences the results, submits nominations, or provides client names to BTI.

Chris Markus serves as deputy chair of King & Spalding’s FDA & Life Sciences Group. Her practice focuses on the regulation of drugs, biologics, and other products by the Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, state boards of pharmacy and related agencies. Markus represents companies in a range of regulatory compliance, enforcement, and business transactions (e.g., strategic planning, due diligence assessments) involving product development and approval, life cycle management, safety, labeling, marketing and advertising, manufacturing, and supply chain.
