Michael is an international energy lawyer specializing in the areas of conventional oil & gas, liquified natural gas (LNG), hydrogen, ammonia, and renewable energy. In connection with such projects, he often focuses on corporate, project financing, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), product offtake, operational, and M&A matters. He has extensive experience working on matters involving the downstream, midstream and upstream sectors of the oil & gas industry, including in relation to the development of large offshore natural gas discoveries in Southeast Asia and the financing of offshore crude oil floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) units in South America. Michael has also drafted and negotiated numerous sale and purchase agreements for the long-term supply of natural gas, LNG, hydrogen and ammonia from North America.
