Kateryna Frolova is an associate in the firm's Trial and Global Disputes Practice Group. She is qualified in England and Wales and has extensive experience in investor-state and international commercial arbitration, English High Court and Court of Appeal litigation, as well as DIFC Court of First Instance and Court of Appeal proceedings.
Kateryna has a broad practice with a particular interest in international commercial arbitration and litigation involving a CIS or MENA element. She has been involved in a variety of cases across many jurisdictions and industries, including finance, mining, and oil and gas industries. Her recent work includes a number of large-scale energy arbitrations against States.
Prior to joining the Dubai office of King & Spalding, Kateryna spent two years as an associate in King & Spalding's London office. She previously worked in the arbitration group of a New York-headquartered firm and trained at a Magic Circle law firm, during which time she was seconded to Dubai. Kateryna read Jurisprudence at the University of Oxford and graduated with honours.
