John focuses on 340B litigation, helping out managed care clients with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues. He also helps clients with civil and criminal investigations by the federal government regarding AKS, FCA, and other healthcare-related statutory violations.
Prior to beginning his legal career, John was a healthcare journalist at GenomeWeb, a news site based out of New York City. There, John reported on healthcare and biotech legal news and industry trends, including COVID-19 diagnostic testing and blood-based assays to diagnose different types of cancers. Further, he synthesized and condensed complex scientific studies into digestible yet comprehensive pieces for a broad audience in the healthcare industry. John was co-president of the OUTLAW (LGBTQ+ student organization) at Washington & Lee School of Law, and graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
