Jason de Jesus is an associate in the Los Angeles office of King & Spalding and a member of the firm's Healthcare practice group. He represents healthcare providers in managed care litigation.

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Jason counseled and represented clients in commercial, employment, and healthcare matters. Jason has experience challenging California Department of Public Health citations and appealing CMS penalties and other enforcement actions to the Departmental Appeals Board as well as through the IDR and Independent IDR processes.

Jason received his B.S. in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA. He received his J.D. from Loyola Law School, where he served as a Developments Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, judicial extern to the Honorable S. James Otero of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Treasurer of the Health Law and Bioethics Association, and Diversity Chair of the Student Bar Association.  Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jason worked for UCLA Neuropathology, where he performed diagnostic tests on brain and muscle tissue and co-authored peer-reviewed journal publications examining the fields of neuro-oncology and Alzheimer's disease.
