Director of Community Affairs


Jannquell Peters is the firm’s Director of Community Affairs. In that role, she oversees the firm’s global philanthropic efforts and impact volunteer programming. She assists in administrating the firm's pro-bono program, stakeholder engagement, and enhancing office and attorney profiles in local markets. She also works to achieve placement in community leadership roles, such as non-profit boards and memberships.

Jannquell was elected as the 33rd Mayor of East Point, GA and has a history of public service as a trusted senior advisor and director in the government, non-profit, and private sectors. Just prior to joining the firm, she served as a magistrate judge in Fulton County, presiding over criminal and civil matters. As a practicing attorney, she represented the State of Georgia in a variety of civil matters and additionally served as a child advocate attorney and public defender. She has extensive knowledge of government operations, having served as a cabinet member in the City of Atlanta under two administrations.

Jannquell is a registered neutral in Georgia specializing in juvenile dependency and delinquency matters. She holds a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center and is licensed in Georgia and Louisiana. Jannquell has been consecutively named on the Atlanta Business League’s Women of Influence list and received the Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award. She has also been featured in several publications, including Atlanta Magazine and South Atlanta Magazine.
