Blake’s practice focuses primarily on electronic discovery and case management of large-scale discovery projects. He works extensively with other Discovery Center attorneys and case teams to assess and understand the objectives of each matter before implementing streamlined, defensible discovery workflows aligned with industry best practices that leverage technology-assisted review to control the ever-increasing Discovery costs. Blake’s practice deals with such matters including government investigations, products liability, and patent infringement cases in connection with the automobile, pharmaceutical, and medical technology fields.
Experienced in guiding case teams through the entire lifecycle of discovery from collections to productions, Blake provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of any case, from small single-issue matters or internal investigations with only a handful of custodians’ emails, to large government investigation or productive liability actions with hundreds of gigabytes and multiple types of electronic data. Blake’s experience includes conducting custodial interviews, supervising and training attorney review teams, creating detailed workflows protocols and review aids, data management and review tracking for reporting purposes, and the creation of privilege logs.
