People

Adam Petravicius serves as lead counsel on strategic business transactions, particularly those driven by technology or IP. He has over 25 years of experience with M&A deals, joint ventures, strategic alliances, collaborations, licenses, and other commercial transactions. He is particularly adept at complex, novel transactions, and has substantial experience in M&A carve-outs. Adam combines deep knowledge of law, technology, and business to deliver practical advice and get deals done.

Adam has a successful track record working with leading public companies and premier private equity sponsors (and their portfolio companies) on some of their most important transactions. He has substantial experience across a wide range of industries, including software, technology, life sciences, consumer products, defense, chemicals and automotive.

He is often invited by his clients to deliver presentations at their internal law department meetings or to business executives regarding technology or IP, in particular with respect to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence or machine learning (AI/ML). His presentations are consistently praised for giving lawyers and non-technical audiences a genuine understanding of technical concepts — not just talking points to repeat, but a grasp of the subject they can apply on their own.
