Please join us for a roundtable webinar that will explore recent Office of Inspector General (OIG) revisions to its Integrity Agreement (IA) and Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) model language. Changes to OIG’s CIA model language not only impact CIA-obligated providers but also reflect the agency’s evolving expectations concerning compliance program design and effectiveness. Specifically, the panel will explore:
- OIG’s recent changes to its model language, including changes related to the Compliance Committee’s role, extrapolation in Independent Review Organization (IRO) reviews, exclusion screening obligations, and focus on Stark and Anti-Kickback Statute compliance controls.
- What these changes by OIG signal for healthcare organizations that are not subject to a CIA.
- Practical strategies to manage risk proactively, promote compliance with federal healthcare program requirements, and avoid enforcement scrutiny.
