Sean Royall to Speak at the Federalist Society’s Third Annual In-House Counsel Network Conference

Dallas Global Head for Antitrust and Consumer Protection partner Sean Royall will be a featured speaker at the Federalist Society’s Third Annual In-House Counsel Network Conference on May 17 at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas. Sean will moderate a panel discussion titled “The Increasing Convergence of Antitrust and Consumer Protection Law: Trends in Enforcement and Litigation.”

Antitrust and consumer protection law have long been largely separate provinces, despite their common focus on consumer welfare. But in recent years, these two bodies of law have been converging. At the FTC  previously sharp dividing lines between the agency’s antitrust and consumer protection bureaus are becoming blurred. This panel will broadly address the various changes and trends in antitrust and consumer protection law and how they affect American businesses.
